Collaboration with universities and training centres
A good vet has insight into the spatial relationships and the construction of the body and the organs of animals. In order to obtain this knowledge of the anatomy of the horse, organs of slaughtered animals are used.
Hooves for training centres
A blacksmith is the person responsible for the care of the hooves of the horse. He or she makes sure that the horse can stand and walk properly and ensures that any fixed position or standing defects are improved or corrected.
After the assessment and trimming the hooves it is determined whether the horse must be nailed. For the education of blacksmiths hooves are supplied to training centres.
